Nico - Fred W. McDarrah Print

Photographer Fred W. McDarrah was the visual identity behind the Village Voice for fifty years. He chronicled counterculture, artists, writers, politicians, social movements, and musicians of the day. His images are iconic.

This photo of Nico performing with the Velvet Underground was taken at Steve Paul’s nightclub, the Scene, New York, on January 7, 1967. The print size is 11x14"

There is a slight ink smudge in the white border. This would be hidden by a frame matting.
