The Village Preservation Historic Image Archive highlights the history of the people and built environment of Greenwich Village, the East Village, and NoHo, and New York City in general. Most of our images are available for purchase while some not due to Copyright limitations. Eligible items for purchase note "Permission to publish or reproduce must be secured from Village Preservation" in the "Rights" section of each image.
